NLF I have one question you have some influence over ... when does Shahab reappear in the camp timeline?
Well ... he would be there already if he'd have just stayed there to begin with ... More seriously, he'll be showing up once the main group sets out to do something.

Oh, I figured that since you said you had "a way to bring the party together" that you had something planned.
Yeah, it was called "End Shahab's hunt successfully, let the main group come to a conclusion, have Shahab arrive." Still the same plan. Although, there is much less reason to have Shahab come together withthe party since the party is splitting up yet again.
My only question is that the HP increase should be +9, not +11, making Kizzt's total 45, not 47. I'm open to hearing why you thought it would be +11, though.

+1 BAB = 215 xp
Manifester level 5 -> 6 = 150xp
For these reasons:
Kizzt has already bought the 215 XP level for BAB
Manifester level cannot be increased until Kizztis 4th level
With the alterations that I made, I have Kizzt at having spent 4,897 XP - not counting the 1,500 XP that was the start-up value.

By the way, I'm considering opening the game up to Complete Gear for those who are interested in using the resource. It shouldn't really change the balance of the game, so players would not be required to pick it up. What it would mean is those players who use it can essentially ignore party treasure (as it would hurt their IP pool anyway) and those players who don't use the resource would essentially get all the treasure (which I would of course decrease accordingly to make sure the game is balanced. I am open to opinions on this, especially since handing out treasure is my absolute least favorite aspect of DMing.

i was wondering if you would be considering that, and personally i'm all for it. i know i, for one, was trying to figure out how you could have plausibly kept us appropriately equipped for our level when we're way out in the middle of nowhere... if you start sending out teams of assassins carrying huge bags of gold or valuable psionic items all the time, it starts to feel a little weird...
(edit: one concern, does the 'town' get to have it's own set fund? ie will the cost of paying the colonists, buying supplies for the town, equipment for the town, etc come out of personal funds, or can we designate money to be 'town money' and so long as we don't use it for our characters we'd be good to go?)
(alternate possibility: we could each be able to assign a small portion of our allotment to a communal 'town' pool, to be able to enchant buildings and suchlike... of course, first we'll need DSP to write a book about enchanting buildings. or use the 3.0 SBG, but that's not gonna nearly cover the cost...)

You DO add your Constitution bonus (+2) to each Hit Die, right? So, 9 is 75% of a d12 + Constitution bonus (+2) for a total of +11.

Ok, I must have misread my BAB and the new BAB. That's fine with me, it was, after all, a fair mistake. So I have another 365 xp eh? Almost 500 left, what should I do with that then?...

I'm OK with Complete gear, I'll just have to buy it.
However, how does it allow for things like what we're currently doing in the IC thread (i.e. purchasing guard dogs/lizard)?
If I read CG review correctly, it'as about dumping treasure entirely, so how does one handle the various (really cheap, I agree, when compared to the mandatory magical stuff) mundane purchase (food, lodging, misc goods) under CG?

No. CON bonus is based on overall character level. (CC p.6)

Yeah, a fair mistake indeed. My denial of the BAB purchase wasn't really a denial since he already had it! As for what to spend it on, how much total XP do you have for Kizzt?

CG doesn't eliminate treasure at all. It can - and in an ideal world it would eliminate the need for money to buy the big expensive magical items. But there'sno reason that the person using CG couldn't hold onto a few hundred gold - essentialy for RP purposes (guard dogs, tipping barkeeps, etc).

Ya im almost positive that "RP gold" was mentioned in the complete gear thread. that being said i know the World of Warcraft book has a whole chapter on how a town can essentially level up to mimic the similar concept in the RTS games. While i think such a thing would be awesome to use im not sure if NLF would want to use a 3rd party book. However if he could create something similar(Complete City? lol) that would be amazing

No, not interested. IPs in CG work the same as gps in a standard with the exception that it means that it is out of the DMs hands. If the players want something magical, they can use their own IPs should we go that route.

Complete Gear is about MAGICAL items, the "worldbreaking" stuff, from everburning torches to planar artefacts. So horses and dogs are still in.
Edit: Hmmm, pushing "Submit" a few hours after you write something leads to funny replies.
@NLF: Awesome, I'm incompetent when it comes to reading. In that case, +9 hp it is! I'll do all the recalculations. Oh, and by my numbers I'd hve 490 xp left.

complete gear covers everything, and having those minor non-magical items cuts into your personal magical item supply in the same way as allocating that gold to potions or whatever would.

While technically correct, Jaid, there would be nothing wrong with a GM saying that there is a buffer of 100-300 gps that every player can have access to. That would allows them to buy things like horses, their mundane equipment, etc. Assuming that the GM allows MWK qualities to be covered by IPs instead of GPs, 100-300 gps should be plenty, really.
But technically, you are absolutely correct. You total up your mundane wealth and subract that from your IP pool. Thus, you can mix gold and influence in thesame game.

Well, don't have Sanji think that it was anything personal. In reality, having Maphid speak while Sanji was still present would just further covolute the timeline with people having multiple conversations in multiple points in time. By having Maphid speak, those conversations could all be resolved and action could once again just be "present." So, it was nothing personal, just a way to get Sanji (and the rest) in one place and one conversation!
