Official Errata for Psionics Unleashed

Half Giant
Change the second paragraph of the powerful build entry to read:
Whenever a half-giant is subject to a size modifer or special size modifier for a Combat Maneuver Bonus or Combat Maneuver Defense (such as during grapple checks, bull rush attempts, and trip attempts), the half-giant is treated as one size larger if doing so is advantageous to him.

Table 2-1
Change the heading to read:
"Bonus Power Points (by Manifester Level)"

Bonus Power Points
Add the following sentence at the end of the paragraph that begins with "How to Determine Your Bonus Power Points":
For multiclass characters, calculate bonus power points for each class individually and add all bonus power points gained to your power point pool.

Psion
Discipline Talents: Change the first two sentences to read:
Each discipline gains access to two psi-like abilities that can be used as long as the psion maintains psionic focus. Discipline talents are treated as 0-level powers for all purposes (such as save DC).

Psychic Warrior
Class Skills: Add Spellcraft to the list of class skills for the psychic warrior.

Martial Power:
Change the first sentence to read: "makes an attack (but not a ranged touch attack)" instead of "makes a melee attack".

Add the following to the end of the ability.
You gain the benefits of the power on the attack made, even if the power is what grants the weapon to make the attack. You may only activate a path power in this fashion once per round.

Secondary Path
Add the following to the end of the first paragraph:
The psychic warrior treats the path skills of his secondary path as class skills and may select them when choosing a path skill.

Soulknife
Mind Shield Blade Skill
Change the text to read: Mind Shield: The soulknife gains a +2 shield bonus to armor class, as long as she has a hand free.

Wilder
Wild Surge
At the end of the 8th paragraph, add the following line: "If the wilder suffers psychic enervation and loses more power points from psychic enervation than she has available, she instead loses 3 hit points for every power point lost."

Metapsionic Feats
Change the third paragraph under Metapsionic Feats on page 41 to read:
Manifestation Cost: To use a metapsionic feat, a psionic character must typically both expend his psionic focus (see below) and pay an increased power point cost as given in the feat description.

Add the following to the end of the Metapsionic Feats section:
Multiple Metapsionic Feats on a Power: A manifester can apply multiple metapsionic feats to a single power. Changes to its power point cost are cumulative. You can't apply the same metapsionic feat more than once to a single power.

Manifesting Powers
Add the following line at the end of the Manifesting Powers entry on page 55.
Manifesting powers follows the same rules as casting spells to determine attacks of opportunity.

Apopsi
Add the following line to the power description:
If a character gains a level after losing powers or spells in this fashion, he or she may choose new powers or spells to replace those lost, but they must be the same level as the power or spell lost.

Aura Alteration
Change the last augment option to read:
3. For every 3 additional power points you spend, the bonus against the original save is increased by 1.

Bend Reality
Change the next-to-late paragraph to read:
A duplicated power allows saving throws and power resistance as normal (but the save DC is for a 7th-level power).

Brain Lock
Add the following sentence to the end of the first paragraph:
Each round on its turn, the subject may attempt a new saving throw to end the effect. This is a full-round action that does not provoke attacks of opportunity.

Detect Psionics
Change the last line of the Psionic Aura Strength Table to read:
"Psionic item or creature (manifester level)*"
Add the following line at the bottom of the table.
* For creatures without a manifester level, use the creature's CR or hit die, whichever is lower.

Empathic Transfer, Hostile
Change the second augment option to read:
2. If you spend 6 additional power points, this power affects all creatures in a 20-foot-radius spread centered on you, transferring the full amount of damage to each creature, although no matter how many targets you affect, you only heal the highest amount transferred to any one target.

Energy Wall
Change the Area line to read:
Area: An opaque sheet of energy up to 20 ft. long/level or a ring of energy with a radius of up to 5 ft./2 levels; either form 20 ft. high

Change the Power Resistance to:
Power Resistance: Yes

Metamorphosis Powers
Change the "Display" entry to read:
"Display: Material"


Add the following after the first paragraph of Minor Metamorphosis
This grants you a +10 bonus on Disguise skill checks.

Modify the first sentence of the second paragraph of Minor Metamorphosis to read:
If you choose to imitate an existing person, you gain an additional +2 circumstance bonus to Disguise checks to convince people that you are that person.

Change the line in Minor Metamorphosis's Abilities Menu A that currently reads:
• You gain a natural slam/claw/bite (pick one) attack that deals 1d8/1d10 damage.
to instead read:
• You gain a natural slam/claw/bite (pick one) attack that deals 1d8 damage if Medium (1d10 if Large).

Change the line in Metamorphosis's Abilities Menu B that currently reads:
• You gain two natural slam/claw/bite (pick one) attacks that deal 1d8/1d10 damage.
to instead read:
• You gain two natural slam/claw/bite (pick one) attacks that deal 1d8 damage if Medium (1d10 if Large).

Change the line in Major Metamorphosis's Abilities Menu C that currently reads:
• You gain three natural slam/bite/claw attacks that deal 2d6/2d8 damage.
to instead read:
• You gain three natural slam/bite/claw attacks that deal 2d6 damage if Medium (2d8 if Large).

Add the following options to True Metamorphosis
Augment: You can augment this power in the following ways.
1. For every 6 power points you spend, you gain one choice from Enhancement Menu C and one choice from Abilities Menu C. You may not choose the same option twice.
2. For every 2 power points you spend, you gain one choice from Enhancement Menu A and one choice from Abilities Menu A from minor metamorphosis. You may not choose the same option twice.
3. For every 4 power points you spend, you gain one choice from Enhancement Menu B and one choice from Abilities Menu B from metamorphosis. You may not choose the same option twice.

Natural Healing
Change the augment line to read:
Augment: For every additional power point you spend, this power heals an additional 3 hit points.

Psionic Lion's Charge
Change the augment line to read:
Augment: For every additional power point spent, each of your attacks after a charge in the current round gains a cumulative +1 circumstance bonus on damage.

Second Chance
Change the second sentence of the power text to read: "You see the many alternative branches that reality could take in the next few seconds, and with this foreknowledge you gain the ability to reroll one attack roll, one saving throw, one ability check, or one skill check."

Sense Link
Change the third augment option to read:
3. If you spend 2 additional power points, you can target an unwilling creature (Will save negates), but cannot augment this power in any other way. Treat the power as a 2nd level power when determining the save DC.

Unravel Psionics
Change the line "Power Points" to read:
"Power Points: 17"

Prestige Classes

Psion Uncarnate
Uncarnate Ability
Change the second sentence to read: The character becomes permanently uncarnate, gains an additional +1 bonus to all save DCs of powers he manifests, counts his key ability score as 4 points higher for the purpose of bonus power points, gains a deflection bonus to his AC equal to his Charisma modifier (minimum +1) and can instead use his Shed Body class ability to become material.

Pyrokineticist
Add the following lines to the Leech Heat class feature:
A successful Fortitude save (DC 10 + ½ class level + Charisma modifier) halves this damage and the healing the pyrokineticist receives.

Thrallherd
Add "Alluring voice" to the Special entry for level 10.

War Mind
Remove the sentence from the "Power Points/Day" entry that reads:
" Bonus power points from having a high ability score can be gained only for the character’s highest psionic class."

Synaptic Masks
Change the last sentence in the "Description" section to read:
The wearer can remove the shard later to put another shard into the mask, though this results in the initial shard’s disintegration as described above.

Astral Constructs

Change the second sentence in the Construct Traits entry in all astral constructs to read:
It is not subject to nonlethal damage, ability damage, ability drain, fatigue, exhaustion, or energy drain.
(In short, remove critical hits from the list of things they are not subject to.)

Phrenic Scourge
Change the Psi-Like Abilities to read:
At will - empathic connection (affects animal, fey, giant, magical beast, monstrous humanoid, aberration, dragon, elemental and outsider types, duration 9 days, DC 19), aversion (duration 13 hours, DC 19), read thoughts (DC 16), mind control (duration 9 hours, 5 targets, DC 16), psychoport.

Add the Alertness feat to the list of feats.

Change the skill list to read the following:
Skills Autohypnosis +6, Bluff +10, Climb +8, Diplomacy +10, Disguise +8 (+10 acting), Intimidate +7, Knowledge (psionics) +15, Perception +16 (+22 if unclothed), Sense Motive +10, Spellcraft +15, Stealth +14

Psicrystal

Change the second sentence in the Construct Traits entry in the psicrystal entry to read:
It is not subject to nonlethal damage, ability damage, ability drain, fatigue, exhaustion, or energy drain.

Thought Eater
Change the ability named Ethereal Jaunt to Ethereal Passage.
Change the reference to the psionic ethereal jaunt power to the ethereal passage power.

Official Errata for Psionics Expanded

Blue Race

Cryptic Favored Class Bonus
Change to read: Add +1 to Craft checks for a single Craft skill (alchemy, armor, etc.)

Aegis

Starting Age:
The aegis's starting age uses the same modifier as a Barbarian, Rogue, or Sorcerer.

Starting Gold:
The aegis's starting gold is 5d4 ×10 (125 gp)

Form Astral Suit
Remove the following text from the ability:
", although customizations that have scaling costs, such as the Brawn customization, do count toward the customization point cost of subsequent selections. For example, the Astral Skin form grants the Nimble customization. Should the aegis want to select Nimble again, he would have to pay the increased cost (4) instead of the initial cost (2)."

Hardy Customization
Change the last sentence to read:
Each subsequent time it is taken, the enhancement bonus to Constitution is increased by +2.

Nimble Customization
Change the last sentence to read:
Each subsequent time it is taken, the enhancement bonus to Dexterity is increased by +2.

Aberrant Archetype
Change Transform Body to read:
An aberrant learns to modify his own form as a full-round action, rather than covering himself in an ectoplasmic suit. This transformation lasts until it is dismissed, and the aberrant can dismissed the transformation as a free action. While this ability is active, the aberrant gains a +1 natural armor bonus to his AC. At 5th level and every 5 levels thereafter (10th, 15th, and 20th), the natural armor bonus increases by 1.

An aberrant can modify his form in a fashion similar to the aegis’s customization, but his options are more limited. He can choose customizations from the customization list below, as well as new customizations exclusive to the aberrant. These customizations, as well as the free ones gained below, are active as long as this ability is active. Because the aberrant is modifying his own body, he can wear armor as normal.

The aberrant gains Hardened Strikes and Brawn as free customization. At 2nd level, the aberrant gains Darkvision as a free customization. At 10th level, the aberrant gains Improved Damage Reduction as a free customization.

This ability replaces Astral Suit.

Cryptic

Discerning Pattern
Change the last line of the ability to read "Whether or not discerning pattern is successful, the creature cannot be the target of this ability for 24 hours."

Marksman

Volley Style

Split Shot
Add the following line to the ability:
Use the same attack roll to determine the success against both targets.

Tactician

Collective:

Add the following to the third paragraph:
"When manifesting powers in this way, the collective provides line of sight and line of effect, so long as the target member of the collective is within the range of the collective ability itself."

Vitalist


Collective:
Change the second sentence in the first paragraph to read:
"As a standard action, a vitalist can join a number willing targets into his collective equal to his key ability modifier or half his vitalist level, whichever is higher."
Instead of "As a standard action, a vitalist can join up to his class level in willing targets into his collective."

Change the last sentence in the first paragraph to read:
"The vitalist is always considered a member of his own collective, and does not count against this limit. "
Instead of "vitalist’s collective can never have more members than his class level. The vitalist is always considered a member of his own collective, and does not count against this limit. "

Add the following to the third paragraph:
"When manifesting powers in this way, the collective provides line of sight and line of effect, so long as the target member of the collective is within the range of the collective ability itself."

Mender Method

Mender's Pulse
Add the following line at the end of the ability:
"This healing is not eligible to be redirected using Collective Healing."

Soulthief Method

Soulthief's Expertise
Add the following to the end of the ability:
If the power deals hit point damage to multiple targets, the soulthief only heals 50% of the damage to the target dealt the highest damage.

Thunder Blade
Change the first line to read:
"When the soulknife makes an attack with her mind blade, she can choose to have it deal sonic damage instead of its normal damage, although the damage of the attack is halved."
Change the second line to read:
In addition, the soulknife can expend her psionic focus when she hits with an attack to stagger the target until the end of her next turn unless the target makes a successful Fortitude save (DC 10 + the soulknife’s base attack bonus).

Soulbolt Archetype

Thousand Blades
Change psychic focus to read psychic strike.

Wild Surge Options

Raging Surge
Add the following sentence at the end of the Surge Bond feature:
In addition, you gain the ability to manifest while in a rage, unlike other manifesters.

Greater Intuitive Shot
Change the first sentence after Benefit to read:
You can expend your psionic focus as part of a full attack made with a ranged or thrown weapon to add your Wisdom modifier to the damage roll of each attack made in the full attack.

Hustle Power
Add the following to the end of the feat entry:
Special: This feat cannot be used on powers that cannot be quickened.

Change the prerequisites to read:

Change the last menu choice to read the following:

Empathic Condition Relief
Change the augment in its entirety to read:
Augment: This power can be augmented in one or more of the following ways.
1. For every 2 additional power points you spend, the number of rounds of relief extends by 1.
2. If you spend 8 additional power points, you can restore a petrified creature back to its normal state, although the subject must make a successful DC 15 Fortitude save to survive the process. Any petrified creature, regardless of size, can be restored.

Mend Body
Add the following line to the power entry:
Manifesting Time: 1 standard action

Mirror Shot
Add the following line to the power entry:
Power Resistance: Yes

Missive
Change the level for tactician to read "0" instead of "1"

Physical Acceleration
The level for the psychic warrior should be 3, not 2, with a power point cost of 5, not 3.

Change the last line in the first paragraph to read:

All subsequent increases also only last for one round.

Psionic Items

Fusing Armor
Revise the second sentence to read the following (emphasis on addition):
The Armor Check penalty of the armor is reduced by 1 (to a minimum of 0), the Maximum Dexterity Bonus is increased by 1, any arcane spell failure is reduced by 10%, and the armor is treated as if one category lighter for movement restrictions.

Ring of Missile Protection
Change the price to 4,000 gp and the cost to 2,000 gp

Gloves of the Beast
Change the requirement to read Craft Wondrous Item instead of Craft Universal Item.

Official Errata for Psionics Augmented

Fighter's Blade Feat
Benefit should read:
Benefit: Treat your class level as four higher to determine your enhanced mind blade class feature and which blade skills you can select, to a maximum of your character level.

Updated as of 12/21/10 with some minor corrections.

Nothing earth shattering in here, but little things that might correct any confusion.

Updated 12/27/10 with clarifications for the Metamorphosis powers and their natural attacks.

Updated 1/3/11 with an errata for Leech Heat for the Pyro.

Updated 1/6/11 with a feat correction for the Phrenic Scourge and a correction for Powerful Build.

Corrected 1/11/11 some more stuff in the Phrenic Scourge.

Looks like it was heavily affected by the Monster chapter corruption & rebuild.

Updated 1/14/11 with some corrections for Psion Discipline talents.

1/24/11 Significant errata added to Natural Healing. Now augments at 1 pp = 3 hp, instead of 2 pp = 3 hp.

1/26/11 Added a one-line clarification on manifesting & attacks of opportunity.

3/3/11 Removed crit immunity from Astral Constructs and Psicrystals.

At the end of the 8th paragraph, add the following line: "If the wilder suffers psychic enervation and loses more power points from psychic enervation than she has available, she instead loses 3 hit points for every power point lost."

Healing Surge Wilder
Change the Improved Surge Bond to:
Improved Surge Bond: At 5th, 9th, 13th and 17th level the healing wilder gains her choice of either the Expanded Knowledge or Extra Power Known* feat, but must choose a power of the Healing subdiscipline.

This fixes a gap at 5th level where there are no 1st level healing powers to choose.

Given the archetypes we've created for the soulknife - and potential future archetypes - I've add the following to the soul archer's Ranged Psychic Strike ability:

If the soul archer does not have the psychic strike ability, he gains the psychic strike ability, dealing 1d8 points of damage at 4th level and 2d8 points of damage at 8th level, but may only use this ability when his mind blade is in mind arrow form.

Minor errata on the Soulbolt archetype

While it was implied by Enhanced Mind Bolt, it was not explicitly stated:
This ability replaces the Enhanced Mind Blade class feature normally gained by soulknives.

Change the last two sentences of the first paragraph in the Fire Lash entry to instead read:
A pyrokineticist can take Weapon Focus and Weapon Specialization (if she otherwise meets the prerequisites) in conjunction with the fire lash, and any feats and class features that affect a whip can also be used with a fire lash. The whip remains in existence as long as the pyrokineticist holds it.

Issued an errata for the Aberrant archetype.

Aberrant Archetype
Change Transform Body to read:
An aberrant learns to modify his own form as a full-round action, rather than covering himself in an ectoplasmic suit. This transformation lasts until it is dismissed, and the aberrant can dismissed the transformation as a free action. While this ability is active, the aberrant gains a +1 natural armor bonus to his AC. At 5th level and every 5 levels thereafter (10th, 15th, and 20th), the natural armor bonus increases by 1.

An aberrant can modify his form in a fashion similar to the aegis’s customization, but his options are more limited. He can choose customizations from the customization list below, as well as new customizations exclusive to the aberrant. These customizations, as well as the free ones gained below, are active as long as this ability is active. Because the aberrant is modifying his own body, he can wear armor as normal.

The aberrant gains Hardened Strikes and Brawn as free customization. At 2nd level, the aberrant gains Darkvision as a free customization. At 10th level, the aberrant gains Improved Damage Reduction as a free customization.

This ability replaces Astral Suit.

Uncarnate Ability
Change the second sentence to read: The character becomes permanently uncarnate, gains an additional +1 bonus to all save DCs of powers he manifests, counts his key ability score as 4 points higher for the purpose of bonus power points, gains a deflection bonus to his AC equal to his Charisma modifier (minimum +1) and can instead use his Shed Body class ability to become material.

"The soulknife gains a +2 shield bonus to armor class, as long as she has a hand free and her mind blade is formed."
